ISSSP Focused Session - October 28th 2009
"Blended e-Learning for LSS/CPI: The Before & After Series." - Webinar 3 of 3
Increasingly, organizations are discovering that blended learning - if the e-Learning is good - is better learning for Lean Six Sigma/Continuous Process Improvement than 100% ILT or standalone e-Learning.
Participants in The Quality Group's 2009 Series of three ISSSP Webinars, are hearing directly from deployment and MBB leaders at Black & Decker, Blood Systems, Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC), CSX Transportation, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Raytheon, and RACE about their LSS/CPI Blended e-Learning programs. The webinars focus on 'lessons learned' as presenters briefly describe their pre-e-Learning approach, their current training process and their plans for the future.
On Wednesday, October 28th at 12:00 P.M. EDT, please join Gary Klipp, Lead Six Sigma Instructor at CPCC, former Executive Vice President and primary MBB/SME at The Quality Group and Rob Fioto, RACE Chairperson and Raytheon business development executive. Each will explain how their blended learning system powered by e-Learning content and platform solutions from TQG is furthering LSS & CPI deployment objectives in the Charlotte, NC business community and in the U.S. federal government. During the discussion, you will learn about:
- delivering on the CTQs of reduced ILT training days, reduced overall training time, increased training quality, and increased bottom line results
- using a complete Lean, Six Sigma, Statistics e-Learning curriculum, averaging 13 hours for Green Belt and 32 hours for Black Belt so that class time is focused on knowledge application, simulations, and project work
- a technology powered process for organizing a centralized, standard, e-Learning body of knowledge for an entire enterprise while enhancing the ability of individual units and divisions to customize the online content with their specific messages
- using a blended learning deployment system (OpusWorks® from TQG) -- to enable Communities of Practice, serve as information repositories, collaboratively create new modules, communicate with users, administer exams, manage classes, monitor progress, automate e-commerce, and deliver improved results by collecting VOC and using it to improve the learning portal environment.
