RACE is committed to a sustainable future and green performance improvement programs and technologies. Current projects being worked by the RACE team include the National Graduate School/University’s Green Campus and Prairie Hills, the world’s first “Green” high-performance racing and research facility.
Prairie Hills is a 1,000 acre site in Lake Village, Indiana, that will serve as a model of environmental efficiency and demonstrate state-of-the-art green technologies. Six additional locations are planned nation-wide. The facility will include:
- High Efficiency Wind Energy;High Efficiency Photovoltaic & Solar Driven Absorption Technologies;
- Green Wastewater Treatment Technologies that will benefit wetlands;
- State-of-the-art green landscape design and maintenance;
- 100% networked, near-paperless property, and reduce and re-use strategies that include composting and worm farms;
- and Bio-fuel production
